Yorkville Christian Mustangs (Yorkville, IL) boosters left the game pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Rosary Royals (Aurora, IL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Trinity (River Forest, IL). The Blazers come into the non-league challenge with a 12-7 record. In their last challenge, Trinity edged Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Royals meet the Timothy Christian Trojans (Elmhurst, IL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 25. Rosary will attempt to advance on its 1-14 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 16-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL).
