    The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) and the host A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC), observed Lake Norman's football squad edge A.L. Brown by a count of 14-13.

    The Wildcats now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host West Cabarrus for a 4A West Conference 57 contest on Friday, October 1. Lake Norman will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 10-6 league win over Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-2.

    Coming up next, the Wonders encounter the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) in a 4A West Conference 57 contest, on Friday, October 1. A.L. Brown will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Chargers go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 10-6 league loss to West Cabarrus (Concord, NC).
