Cardinal Newman Cardinals (Columbia, SC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Wilson Hall Barons (Sumter, SC), 27-20 in a league test.
With the triumph, Cardinal Newman improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Ben Lippen (Columbia, SC) to battle the Falcons in a SCISA AAA Region I test on Friday, October 1. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 0-6. Ben Lippen lost 58-41 in their recent non-league test against Trinity-Byrnes (Darlington, SC)
With the loss, Wilson Hall drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Barons travel to Augusta Christian (Martinez, GA) to battle the Lions in a SCISA AAA Region I test on Friday, October 1. The Lions come into the test with a record of 4-1. Augusta Christian won 48-6 in their recent non-league test against First Baptist School (Charleston, SC)
