    The Perkins Pirates football squad scored 21 points and limited the host Clyde Fliers to 20 in the Pirates league win on Friday.

    The Pirates now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Bellevue for a Sandusky Bay - Lake battle on Friday, October 1. Perkins will play a Redmen squad coming off a 14-0 league win over Norwalk (Norwalk, OH). The Redmen record now stands at 5-1.

    Coming up next, the Fliers play the Columbian Tornadoes (Tiffin, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - Lake battle, on Friday, October 1. Clyde will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Tornadoes go into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 41-13 league win over Sandusky (Sandusky, OH).
