The Rittman Indians football team (Rittman, OH), was ripped 40-7 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Waynedale Golden Bears (Apple Creek, OH)
The Golden Bears (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Smithville (Smithville, OH). The Smithies come into the Wayne County challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Smithville was ripped by Dalton (Dalton, OH), 40-7, in a league challenge.
The Indians now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Norwayne for a Wayne County challenge on Friday, October 1. Rittman will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 34-19 league win over Northwestern (West Salem, OH). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-2.
