The Thornton Wildcats football team (Harvey, IL), was ripped 45-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Thornridge Falcons (Dolton, IL)
The Falcons (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Francis (Wheaton, IL). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Francis trounced Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL), 1-0, in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richwoods for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 1. Thornton will meet a Knights team coming off a 40-7 league loss to Bloomington (Bloomington, IL). The Knights record now stands at 0-5.
