The Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD) football defeated the host Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD), 14-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD) in a Prince George's County 2A/1A bout, on Saturday, October 1. Douglass will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 0-4 record after their 42-14 league loss to Crossland (Temple Hills, MD).
The Mustangs (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC). The Lions enter the non-league bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Archbishop Carroll defeated McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD), 14-7, in a non-league bout.
