The Mepham Pirates football squad scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Calhoun Colts to 12 in the Pirates league victory on Saturday.

The Pirates now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Hyde Park Memorial for a Section 8 Conference II battle on Saturday, October 1. Mepham will play a Gladiators squad coming off a 14-6 league win over Elmont Memorial (Elmont, NY). The Gladiators record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Colts play the Roslyn Bulldogs (Roslyn Heights, NY) in a battle, on Saturday, October 1. Calhoun will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record.
