New York High School Football - Franklin Academy topples Canton

The Franklin Academy Huskies (Malone, NY) football defeated the host Canton Golden Bears (Canton, NY), 26-6 in Saturday's league bout.

In their next game, the Huskies face the Ogdensburg Free Academy Blue Devils (Ogdensburg, NY) in a Section 10 bout, on Friday, September 30. Franklin Academy will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 4-0 record after their 38-37 league win over Potsdam (Potsdam, NY).

The Golden Bears (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Gouverneur (Gouverneur, NY). The Wildcats enter the Section 10 bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Gouverneur defeated Massena (Massena, NY), 21-14, in a league bout.
