The Cedar Creek Pirates football team (Egg Harbor City, NJ), was tipped 26-20 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Salem Rams (Salem, NJ)

The Rams (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodstown (Woodstown, NJ). The Wolverines come into the West Jersey - Diamond challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Woodstown nipped Glassboro (Glassboro, NJ), 22-16, in a non-league challenge.

The Pirates now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. Joseph for a West Jersey - Independence challenge on Saturday, October 1. Cedar Creek will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 14-7 non-league win over Willingboro (Willingboro, NJ). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.
