Cedar Mountain Cougars (Morgan, MN) fans left the game satisfied Saturday as they observed their football team run past the visiting St. Mary's Knights (Sleepy Eye, MN), 16-6 in a league test.

With the win, Cedar Mountain improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN) to confront the Falcons in a District 9 South - West (9 Man) test on Friday, September 30. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 3-1.

With the loss, St. Mary's moves to 3-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Truman (Granada, MN) to confront the Mustangs in a District 9 South - West (9 Man) test on Friday, September 30. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 3-1. Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Truman won 36-6 in their recent league test against Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda (Okabena, MN)
