The Cypress Springs Panthers (Cypress, TX) football defeated the visiting Cypress Park Tigers (Cypress, TX), 36-14 in Saturday's league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region II District 16 bout, on Saturday, October 1. Cypress Springs will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 49-17 league win over Cypress Woods (Cypress, TX).
