Arizona High School Football - Anthem Prep knocks off Ray

The Anthem Prep Eagles football squad scored 16 points and limited the visiting Ray Bearcats to 0 in the Eagles non-league win on Saturday.

The Eagles now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Salome for a 1A West (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 30. Anthem Prep will play a Frogs squad coming off a 34-20 league win over Bagdad (Bagdad, AZ). The Frogs record now stands at 4-1.

Coming up next, the Bearcats play the Duncan Wildkats (Duncan, AZ) in a 1A South (8 Man) battle, on Friday, September 30. Ray will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Wildkats go into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 44-32 league win over Baboquivari (Sells, AZ).
