The Lewis Mills Spartans football team (Burlington, CT), was ripped 42-7 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Weston Trojans (Weston, CT)
The Trojans (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Stratford (Stratford, CT). The Red Devils come into the South-West challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Stratford was ripped by Avon (Avon, CT), 14-12, in a non-league challenge.
The Spartans now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hartford Public for a Central Connecticut - Tier 4 challenge on Friday, September 30. Lewis Mills will meet a Owls team coming off a 35-0 non-league win over Bridgeport Central (Bridgeport, CT). The Owls record now stands at 2-1.
