The Poultney Blue Devils football team (Poultney, VT), was ripped 40-0 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Springfield Cosmos (Springfield, VT)

The Cosmos (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Oxbow (Bradford, VT). The Olympians come into the Division III challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Oxbow trounced Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT), 35-8, in a league challenge.

The Blue Devils now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mill River for a Division III challenge on Saturday, October 1. Poultney will meet a Minutemen team coming off a 26-12 league win over Woodstock (Woodstock, VT). The Minutemen record now stands at 3-1.
