With the win, Alameda upgrades its record to 17-5 on the year. The Hornets travel to San Leandro (San Leandro, CA) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 24. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

The Tigers now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Oakland Tech for a bout on Tuesday, September 27. Fremont will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Alameda (Alameda, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
