California High School Volleyball - St. Francis can't hold off Chico

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Chico Panthers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the St. Francis Troubadours.
The Panthers (18-1) will now prepare for their battle against Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Pleasant Valley was edged by Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
