In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Mendez Jaguars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers.
The Jaguars (12-2) will now prepare for their battle against Sherman Oaks CES (Reseda, CA). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Sherman Oaks CES dropped by Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Vipers (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Northridge Academy (Northridge, CA). The Pumas enter the test with a 7-3 record.
