The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL) and the host De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL), saw Stagg's soccer squad knock off De La Salle by a count of 4-2.
The Chargers now hold a 13-2 record. They play next when they travel to Homewood-Flossmoor for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 27. Stagg will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 4-9.
With the loss, De La Salle drops to 6-7 on the season. The Meteors travel to Fenwick (Oak Park, IL) to meet the Friars in a Chicago Catholic test on Tuesday, September 27. The Friars come into the test with a record of 5-7. Fenwick lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against York (Elmhurst, IL)
