The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Salmon River Shamrocks (Fort Covington, NY) and the host General Brown Lions (Dexter, NY), saw Salmon River's soccer squad get by General Brown by a count of 1-0.
The Shamrocks now hold a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Canton for a Section 10 Central test on Monday, September 26. Salmon River will meet a Golden Bears squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Potsdam (Potsdam, NY). The Golden Bears record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, General Brown drops to 0-2 on the season. The Lions host Indian River (Philadelphia, NY) to meet the Warriors in a non-league test on Monday, September 26. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 1-0.
