In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Glastonbury Guardians soccer squad scored a close 4-0 triumph over the Staples Wreckers.
The Guardians (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Avon (Avon, CT). The Falcons come into the Central Connecticut - Central battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Avon nudged Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
