The Southern Boone Eagles (Ashland, MO) softball routed the host New Bloomfield Wildcats (New Bloomfield, MO), 9-4 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Eagles (11-7) will now prepare for their bout against Capital City (Jefferson City, MO). The Cavaliers go into the non-league bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Capital City was routed by Bowling Green (Bowling Green, MO), 1-0, in a non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Linn for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 24. New Bloomfield will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-2 league loss to Fatima (Westphalia, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-6.
