California High School Volleyball - Heritage nudged by Alameda

The Alameda Hornets volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Heritage Patriots to 1 in the Hornets non-league victory on Saturday.

The Hornets now have a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop O'Dowd for a West Alameda County - Foothill game on Wednesday, September 28. Alameda will meet a Dragons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Encinal (Alameda, CA). The Dragons record now stands at 18-5.

The Patriots (8-8) will now prepare for their game against Livermore (Livermore, CA). The Cowboys enter the non-league game with a 3-9 record. In their last game, Livermore was nudged by Granada (Livermore, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
