The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN) and the host St. Paul Central Minutemen (St. Paul, MN), saw Anoka's volleyball squad beat St. Paul Central by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Anoka upgrades its record to 9-7 on the year. The Tornadoes travel to St. Croix Lutheran (West St. Paul, MN) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 24. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 4-4. St. Croix Lutheran won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Maranatha Christian Academy (Brooklyn Park, MN)

The Minutemen now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Johnson for a St. Paul City bout on Wednesday, September 28. St. Paul Central will play a Governors squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Highland Park (St. Paul, MN). The Governors record now stands at 2-5.
