In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Baldwin-Woodville Blackhawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hayward Hurricanes.

The Blackhawks (23-3) will now prepare for their battle against Altoona (Altoona, WI). The Railroaders come into the Middle Border battle with a 14-8 record. In their last battle, Altoona achieved victory over Amery (Amery, WI), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Hurricanes clash with the Spooner Rails (Spooner, WI) in a Heart O'North battle, on Saturday, September 24. Hayward will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Rails come into the battle with a 5-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to St. Croix Falls (St. Croix Falls, WI).
