The Overton Eagles prevailed the visiting Chase County Longhorns volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Eagles now have a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwest for a non-league test on Saturday, September 24. Overton will confront a Roughriders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE). The Roughriders record now stands at 12-3.

The Longhorns (7-8) will now prepare for their test against South Loup (Arnold, NE). The enter the non-league test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, South Loup gained a win over Anselmo-Merna (Merna, NE), 2-0, in a non-league test.
