The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Encinal Jets (Alameda, CA) and the host Concord Minutemen (Concord, CA), saw Encinal's volleyball squad beat Concord by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Encinal upgrades its record to 2-12 on the year. The Jets travel to Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 24. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Northgate won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Benicia (Benicia, CA)

The Minutemen now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Diablo for a Diablo-Valley bout on Tuesday, September 27. Concord will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Ygnacio Valley (Concord, CA). The Red Devils record now stands at 1-10.
