In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Sedgwick Cardinals volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Council Grove Braves.

The Cardinals (26-0) will now prepare for their battle against Inman (Inman, KS). The Inman Teutons come into the Heart of America battle with a 18-2 record. In their last battle, Inman achieved victory over Remington (Whitewater, KS), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Braves clash with the Sacred Heart Knights (Salina, KS) in a non-league battle, on Sunday, September 25. Council Grove will attempt to advance on its 13-5 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 4-14 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Canton-Galva (Canton, KS).
