The Gryphons (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Monterey (Monterey, CA). The Dores enter the non-league challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, Monterey went down by Pacific Grove (Pacific Grove, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars encounter the Santa Cruz Cardinals (Santa Cruz, CA) in a Santa Cruz Coast challenge, on Tuesday, September 27. San Lorenzo Valley will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Aptos (Aptos, CA).
