The Shiprock Chieftains volleyball team (Shiprock, NM), was edged 3-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Cuba Rams (Cuba, NM)

The Rams (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Navajo Pine (Navajo, NM). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, Navajo Pine was edged by Pine Hill (Pine Hill, NM), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Chieftains encounter the Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM) in a 4A District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, October 4. Shiprock will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Bosque (Albuquerque, NM).
