Illinois High School Volleyball - De La Salle over Tolono Unity

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) and the host Tolono Unity Rockets (Tolono, IL), saw De La Salle's volleyball squad beat Tolono Unity by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, De La Salle upgrades its record to 18-4 on the year. The Meteors travel to Putnam County (Granville, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 24. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Putnam County won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Midland (Varna, IL)

The Rockets now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they host Momence for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 24. Tolono Unity will play a Momence Athletics squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL). The Momence Athletics record now stands at 8-1.
