Nebraska High School Volleyball - Johnson County Central edged by Douglas County West

The Douglas County West Falcon held off the host Johnson County Central Thunderbirds volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Falcon now have a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Calhoun for a Nebraska Capitol test on Monday, September 26. Douglas County West will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Ashland-Greenwood (Ashland, NE). The Pioneers record now stands at 6-9.

The Thunderbirds (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Louisville (Louisville, NE). The Lions enter the non-league test with a 3-15 record. In their last test, Louisville held off Cedar Bluffs (Cedar Bluffs, NE), 2-0, in a non-league test.
