Virginia High School Volleyball - Washington-Liberty tips Forest Park

September 24, 2022: Arlington, VA 22201

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) and the visiting Forest Park Bruins (Woodbridge, VA), saw Washington-Liberty's volleyball squad nip Forest Park by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Washington-Liberty upgrades its record to 6-6 on the year. The Generals host Wakefield (Arlington, VA) to play the Warriors in a Liberty bout on Thursday, September 29. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Wakefield lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA)

The Bruins now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Alexandria City for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 24. Forest Park will play a Titans squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Woodson (Fairfax, VA). The Titans record now stands at 12-1.
