South Dakota High School Volleyball - Mt. Vernon/Plankinton can't hold off Freeman

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Freeman Flyers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans.
The Flyers (13-6) will now prepare for their battle against Sioux Valley (Volga, SD). The Cossacks come into the non-league battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Sioux Valley nudged Milbank (Milbank, SD), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Titans encounter the Parker Pheasants (Parker, SD) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 24. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Pheasants come into the battle with a 4-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Baltic (Baltic, SD).
