The Hoover Cardinals volleyball team (San Diego, CA), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Mar Vista Mariners (Imperial Beach, CA)

The Mariners (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against San Diego (San Diego, CA). The Cavers enter the non-league challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, San Diego nipped Sweetwater (National City, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
