In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting University Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks.
The Wildcats (15-8) will now prepare for their battle against Marquez (Huntington Park, CA). The Gladiators come into the non-league battle with a 10-9 record. In their last battle, Marquez lost by Elizabeth (Cudahy, CA), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Sharks clash with the New West Charter Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) in a Crosstown battle, on Wednesday, September 28. Math & Science College Preparatory will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 6-6 record after their 3-0 league win over View Park (Los Angeles, CA).
