California High School Volleyball - Pleasant Valley over Richmond

Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Richmond Oilers (Richmond, CA), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Maria Carrillo Pumas (Santa Rosa, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 24. Pleasant Valley will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Pumas come into the match with a 14-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa, CA).

With the loss, Richmond drops to 3-16 on the campaign. The Oilers travel to Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA) to clash with the Spartans in a Tri-County match on Monday, September 26. The Spartans come into the match with a record of 7-3.
