The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Travelers Rest Devildogs (Travelers Rest, SC) and the visiting Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC), saw Travelers Rest's volleyball squad beat Porter-Gaud by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Travelers Rest upgrades its record to 10-2 on the year. The Devildogs travel to Blue Ridge (Greer, SC) to play the Fighting Tigers in a AAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, September 27. The Fighting Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Blue Ridge lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Chapman (Inman, SC)

The Cyclones now own a 10-17 record. They play next when they travel to First Baptist School for a SCISA AAA Region III bout on Tuesday, September 27. Porter-Gaud will play a Hurricanes squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Philip Simmons (Charleston, SC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 4-7.
