The Royal Highlanders volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Rio Mesa Spartans to 0 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Saturday.
The Highlanders now have a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Simi Valley for a Coastal Canyon game on Wednesday, September 28. Royal will meet a Pioneers team coming off a 3-2 league win over Oak Park (Oak Park, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 12-5.
The Spartans (5-16) will now prepare for their game against Buena (Ventura, CA). The Bulldogs enter the Channel game with a 6-11 record. In their last game, Buena dropped by Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
