In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Capital Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Spring Valley Timberwolves .
The Cougars (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against George Washington (Charleston, WV). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, George Washington got by Hurricane (Hurricane, WV), 2-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Timberwolves play the Huntington Highlanders (Huntington, WV) in a Mountain State outing, on Thursday, September 26. Spring Valley will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record.
