Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Conneaut Spartans (Conneaut, OH) and the host Lakeside Dragons (Ashtabula, OH), saw Conneaut's soccer squad hold off Lakeside by a score of 3-2.

The Spartans (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Edgewood (Ashtabula, OH). The Warriors enter the Chagrin Valley - Lake battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Edgewood was edged by Madison (Madison, OH), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Dragons confront the Brush Arcs (Lyndhurst, OH) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 26. Lakeside will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Arcs enter the battle with a 8-2 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Shaw (East Cleveland, OH).
