Mounds View Mustangs (Arden Hills, MN) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Irondale Knights (New Brighton, MN), 4-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Mounds View moves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Woodbury (Woodbury, MN) to clash with the Royals in a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. The Royals come into the test with a record of 8-1. Woodbury lost 6-1 in their recent league test against White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN)

The Knights now sport a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Roseville for a Class AA Section 5 test on Thursday, September 26. Irondale will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 2-6.
