In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Classical Purple soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the North Smithfield Northmen.
The Purple (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against East Providence (East Providence, RI). The Townies go into the non-league outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, East Providence was edged by North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Northmen confront the Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 30. North Smithfield will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 5-0 record after their 1-1 non-league Moses Brown (Providence, RI).
