Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Rio Rancho improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Rams travel to Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM) to encounter the Knights in a non-league test on Friday, October 4. The Knights go into the test with a record of 2-1.

The Chargers now own a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Volcano Vista for a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. Albuquerque Academy will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 6-1.
