Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Athens Bulldogs (The Plains, OH) and the host Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV), saw Athens's soccer squad triumph over Point Pleasant by a count of 6-0.

The Bulldogs (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Alexander (Albany, OH). The Spartans enter the Tri-Valley - Ohio battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, Alexander tipped Wellston (Wellston, OH), 7-2, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Big Blacks battle the Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 26. Point Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Huskies enter the battle with a 7-3 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Midland Trail (Hico, WV).
