The Cheyenne Desert Shields soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Cristo Rey St. Viator Royals to 2 in the Desert Shields non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Desert Shields now hold a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Chaparral for a 4A Mountain bout on Thursday, September 26. Cheyenne will play a Cowboys squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to Durango (Las Vegas, NV). The Cowboys record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, Cristo Rey St. Viator moves to 5-4 on the year. The Royals travel to Del Sol (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Dragons in a 3A Southern - Desert bout on Monday, September 30. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Del Sol won 6-0 in their recent league bout against Equipo Academy (Las Vegas, NV)
