The Westside Christian Eagles soccer squad scored 9 points and held the visiting Corbett Cardinals to 1 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Portland Adventist Academy for a 3A/2A/1A-SD1 Special District 1 game on Thursday, September 26. Westside Christian will face a Cougars team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Riverdale (Portland, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 2-2.
The Cardinals (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Riverdale (Portland, OR). The Mavericks come into the 3A/2A/1A-SD1 Special District 1 game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Riverdale defeated Portland Adventist Academy (Portland, OR), 4-2, in a league game.
