The Gateway Olympians soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Denver West Cowboys to 1 in the Olympians non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Olympians now hold a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Aurora Central for a 5A/4A Colorado bout on Thursday, September 26. Gateway will play a Trojans squad coming off a 1-1 league Skyview (Thornton, CO). The Trojans record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Denver West moves to 6-3 on the year. The Cowboys host Rocky Mountain Prep SMART (Denver, CO) to play the Ocelotls in a 3A/2A City bout on Tuesday, October 8. The Ocelotls go into the bout with a record of 4-3.
