Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Muhlenberg Muhls (Laureldale, PA) and the host Exeter Township Eagles (Reading, PA), saw Muhlenberg's soccer squad hold off Exeter Township by a count of 2-1.

The Muhls (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Governor Mifflin (Shillington, PA). The Mustangs enter the non-league battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Governor Mifflin was edged by Conrad Weiser (Robesonia, PA), 7-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Daniel Boone Blazers (Birdsboro, PA) in a Berks County 2 battle, on Thursday, September 26. Exeter Township will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Blazers enter the battle with a 1-9 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Reading (Reading, PA).
