The Grand Junction Tigers smashed the visiting Gunnison Cowboys soccer team by a tally of 6-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.

Next, the Tigers face the Fruita Monument Wildcats (Fruita, CO) in a 5A/4A Southwestern game, on Thursday, October 3. Grand Junction will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record.

The Cowboys (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Ridgway (Ridgway, CO). The Demons come into the 2A Western Slope - South game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Ridgway edged Colorado Rocky Mountain (Carbondale, CO), 5-1, in a non-league game.
